Client Success Story: Fuse Ladder at 416 Pilates
One of our early purchasers was Meghan Uhl of 416 Pilates outside of Chicago, Illinois. We asked her to sit down for a chat and share her Fuse Ladder experience. You can learn more about Meghan on our On-Demand studio, where she shares her love for the Fuse Ladder in her challenging classes.
When did you purchase your Fuse Ladders?
We purchased 8 Fuse ladders in the late fall of 2018 without ever being on one.
How much was your initial investment?
$14K and change
What made you decide to buy Fuse Ladders?
We saw videos Mariska posted on her personal Instagram page and were intrigued. That combined with the versatility of the actual apparatus made sense for my business model.
How many classes do you have on the schedule?
416 Pilates offers over 30 classes on the schedule per week. Half of the schedule uses the Ladder room and the Fuse Ladder as a prop or as the main piece in every one of those classes.
Do you use the Ladder for both Private and Group Classes?
Yes
What was the initial reaction to seeing/using the FUSE Ladder?
Excitement and fear all in the same breath ☺
How long did it take for your FUSE Ladder classes to become profitable?
They were immediately profitable.
How long did it take to amortize the equipment?
Less than 6 months
Do you use other Pilates equipment alongside the Fuse Ladder?
Yes, I do. I use CoreAlign, Chair, Reformer, Mat, Tweener Bar, Push through bar, and Bodhi Suspension
What do you want people to know about the Fuse Ladder?
The Fuse Ladder is such a versatile piece of equipment. To be honest, I don’t think I have even come close to utilizing it to the best of my capabilities. I offer classes like the FUSE Ladder, 416™ Strength and Balance, 416™ Length & Strength, Barre, CoreAlign, CoreAlign Plus, Bodhi Suspension (we use the Fuse Ladder all the time especially the backboard), MELT® as the backboard makes a great wall, Pilates mat (we use the bottom rungs to hold onto, we use the rungs for stretching) I mean there isn’t a time we don’t use the Ladder. That piece is always being worked. I honestly cannot imagine the studio without it.
